Easter egg hunts this weekend

hoppy easterSaturday March 30. 12th annual Griffith Motors Easter Egg Scramble at Sorosis Park.  Starts 11 a.m. just east of the pavilion. Free to children 10 and younger, with hunting areas divided by age. Toddlers 1 to 2 years will have their own area and may be accompanied by an adult. Participants should bring their own Easter baskets or bags. The Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy will both be on hand.

Flagstone Senior Living offers an egg hunt and barbecue starting at 11:15 a.m. The community is invited to bring kids, grandkids and great-grandkids for Easter fun. The free barbecue starts at noon. The event also includes games, a carrot-carving contest and prizes. The egg hunt is for ages up to 12. Participants should bring their own basket

Rufus Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Rufus Fire Department,  11:00 a.m. at the Rufus Community Center, for ages 0-11, with prizes, candy and fun for all!

Easter Egg Hunt in the water at Goldendale Pool. Starts 2 p.m. with free admission all afternoon. Kids hunt for plastic eggs in the water, redeemable for prizes. Ages 6 and under will hunt in the wading pool:   Ages 2 and under from 2 to 2:15, ages 3 and 4 from 2:15 to 2:30, ages 5 and 6 from 2:30 to 2:45. Kids aged 7 and older in the big pool: ages 7 and 8 from 2:45 to 3:00, ages 9 and 10 from 3:00 to 3:15, ages 11 and 12 from 3:15 to 3:30 and 13 and above at 3:30.

Sunday, March 31. American Legion Easter Egg Hunt at the Klickitat County Fairgrounds, starting at 8 a.m. for more than 3,000 eggs. Volunteers asked to come to the fairgrounds at 6 a.m. to hide the eggs.
