Jennifer Emmett is the editorial director for children’s books at the National Geographic Society. We interviewed her about two great kids travel books, National Geographic Kids National Parks Guide U.S.A. and National Geographic Kids Ultimate U.S. Road Trip Atlas. The national parks guide includes tips on exploration, information about animals, sidebars, checklists, fun facts, maps, cool things to do, and much more. The road trip atlas includes easy-to-read, simple road maps of each state and Washington, D.C., and a map of the United States.
